Creative Every Day 2010: My goal

I will be participating in the "Creative Every Day" Challenge for 2010. While I have slacked off on my painting this past week, I hope to pick up the pace soon, especially starting in January. If you are a creative (photographer, writer, artist, knitter, jewelry designer, etc.), amateur or professional, join Creative Every Day, started by Leah Piken Kolidas. It is a great motivation tool and you meet tons of like-minded and wonderful people. My goal for 2010 is to paint at least 5 days a week, even if it is just part of a painting and doing something creative the other two days.

Art Every Day Month (AEDM) has been a blast and I am thankful that I found Leah's website. Thank you to all who have left comments. Thank you also to Leah Piken Kolidas, who started the Creative Every Day blog, and inspires all of us to live a creative life. I hope to continue on with Creative Every Day, the year-long challenge. Even though my AEDM paintings aren't masterpieces, I feel accomplished.

The past two days I've felt like painting in black and white. Maybe it's my dull mood from the weather. I love black and white though! Here is the painting I worked on this morning based on a photo that I took at Garden of the Gods last summer, the last of my AEDM paintings for 2009!
